Refund/Cancellation Policy for Wedding Officiant Services
At Heather Kick – Wedding Celebrant, I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans may need to change. To ensure fairness and clarity for all clients, I’ve outlined the following refund and cancellation policy:
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 60 Days or More Before the Event: A full refund of any payments made will be provided, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations Between 30-59 Days Before the Event: 50% of the total fee will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations Less Than 30 Days Before the Event: No refunds will be provided, as it is difficult to fill the reserved date on short notice.
Non-Refundable Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. This deposit covers the initial consultation, planning, and holding your selected date. In the event of cancellation, this deposit is not refundable.
Rescheduling Policy:
If you need to reschedule your ceremony, I will do my best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. If I am available, your deposit will be transferred to the new date. If I am unavailable, the cancellation policy will apply.
Extreme Circumstances:
In the case of extreme or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, personal emergencies), please reach out to discuss options. I am committed to working with couples to find a compassionate solution.
